Welcome back, everyone!
We’ve been keeping busy here at Plannr with our Stress Management Campaign for this month, and it’s going great so far. Keep scrolling to see what we’ve been up to!
Plannr Consulting’s vision is to eradicate stigma and promote mental health to students across the globe, and with the chapter program specialized for consultations in areas of lifestyle/mental health, subject, and college admissions consultations, we ask for chapter heads! This process could be started by filling out an application, which is provided in the link! The consultant’s bios will be posted on the website, and this can further establish the idea of who to contact when the client is looking for a specific topic or subject. Our consultations are 100% free and it is similar to peer mentoring, and it is designed to help students like you! Our consultants are required to take a course on mental health in school, and how they can make it efficient for the clients, they are trained and can assist you in any interesting area!
We have officially removed our country chapter system and are in the process of replacing it with a city-based chapter system! Interested? Sign up below!
During February, we held our Self-Love Campaign which consisted of a giveaway, a self-care kit, and many other resources. In March, a few of our campaign leads will be working with Srilekha, our Executive Director, to initiate the Sustain the Mind Campaign! It is dedicated to spreading awareness about the connections between the environment and mental health. The plan is to share several educational resources on our social media and host a panel to discuss these topics.
In addition, led by four licensed mental health professionals, Plannr Consulting’s Stress Management Webinar will define stress, teach coping mechanisms & mindfulness, and have a Q&A portion where participants can ask questions or get advice! The Stress Management Workshop will help participants identify their stressors and look into healthy ways to combat them. We will have four breakout rooms, each with one mental health professional, one moderator, and four participants to build trust and make everyone feel more comfortable. In the breakout rooms, they’ll debunk unhealthy thought processes and talk about how stress has affected their lives. Additional resources will be provided, like worksheets and organizers!
